Trend Alert - Ombre

n. A French term meaning "shaded." Usually a multicolored stripe, with colors graduating from light to dark. The color effect is woven into the fabric. Generally produced by arranging different tones in the warp.

I am LOVING the Ombre trend right now. It's everywhere - clothes, bags, shoes, rugs, curtains, and graphics. I am especially loving the trend in men's fashion - HOT! My favorite is the orange v-neck sweater. Wonder if I could convince the hubby to wear something like that?

Have you created anything lately referencing this trend? If you haven't, you should! It's as easy as creating a gradient in Photoshop or Illustrator. The trick is choosing the right colors and blending them just that it resembles a dip-dyeing technique. If you are clueless as to how to create gradients here is a decent tutorial.
