The Sketchbook Project

Have you heard of the Sketchbook project yet? It's a project artist's can participate in by paying $25 for a blank moleskine sketchbook, fill it with sketches according to the theme they pick, and have their book travel the country to libraries in Brooklyn, Chicago, and Atlanta to name a few cities. The coolest thing about it is that you can see how many times your book is viewed online! I think it's a brilliant idea and a cool way to get your name and art out there. I'm definitely taking part - will you join me?

Sign up by Oct 31st here. You can pick your theme, or get a theme randomly picked for you - you can also pick a color for your book! I would love to hear from all my artist friends and know who will be taking part in this - as I will visit the library in Brooklyn to view the books firsthand. So - who's in?? Comment below to let us all know if you will be taking part! And while you're at it grab a button from the site for your blog/website to show you are taking part too!
